Privacy Policy

The short version

Datavo’s tools run entirely in your browser. Whatever you paste, type, or upload into a tool — JSON, CSV, passwords, anything — is processed on your device and is never sent to, or stored on, our servers. We don’t have a database. We don’t have user accounts. There’s nothing to leak, because we never had it in the first place.

What we don’t collect

  • The content you enter into any tool (JSON, CSV, passwords, regex patterns, files, etc.)
  • Your name, email, or any account information — we don’t have accounts
  • Any files you upload for conversion — these are read and processed locally in your browser

What is collected — advertising cookies

Datavo uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google may set cookies on your device to show relevant ads and measure ad performance. Google may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and browsing behavior across sites that use Google ads.

You can control or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites that use our services.

If you’re in the EU or UK, you’ll see a cookie consent banner on your first visit — ads that require personalization cookies are only shown after you consent.

Basic server logs

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard technical information for security and reliability — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. These logs are not used to identify individuals and are not linked to anything you enter into a tool.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which tools are used most, how visitors find the site, and general usage trends. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your IP address, approximate location, device type, and pages visited.

This only loads after you accept cookies via the consent banner — if you decline, Google Analytics never loads and no analytics cookies are set. You can also opt out globally using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Children’s privacy

Datavo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
